About the Artwork

I have developed a new technique for creating art sustainably, at the intersect of painting and sculpture. This elephant artwork is composed entirely of fabric from discarded clothing. This unwanted clothing has been redeemed, reenvisioned and saved from our ever expanding landfills. I have also created my own natural glue, and re-purposed a beautiful piece of construction wood, also formerly deemed "garbage," to support the entire piece.
